What am I (when it comes to politics)

Take a few minutes to take the quiz. At the end, you will get a description of who you are based on your answers to the questions. Post a comment based on what you found out about yourself. Be sure to comment on how these results compare with the results of the survey we took in class. Pay attention to how you responded to the question and the topic of the questions as this could only help when it comes time for us to take our Political Ideology quiz. This is an assignment and must be completed by the time we have class on Friday, March 24th.

  5. My results showed that I am 82% conservative which is very accurate with my results in class. Based on these results, it would be likely for me to believe in a limited government role and instead believe in economic growth.

  7. My results state that I am 83% Social Democrat. According to my results on the survey; 10% portrayed a more "moderate" side. I would agree with the quiz rather than the survey.

  8. My survey results were a 19 out of 25 which is more on the conservative side, similarly my results on the quiz were 89% conservative. I would have to agree more with the survey because I believe that there are some topics where I lean more to the liberal side of the issue.

  9. My results said I was 68% social Democrat, which is similar to my results on the class survey. I think I agree because overall I think I'm liberal on all topics

  10. My result was conservative at 76% which is a little farther to the right than the quiz showed at 14/25, although both results stand true because of the type of questions asked. I share views from both sides, of a small limited government which is oriented to the right, and also of a progressive tax system that is left leaning so my result makes sense.

  11. My results were 77% libertarian and my survey results were also more on the liberal side being a 9/25. I would have to agree with this, my quiz also says I would be likely to believe in limited role of the government and that a "free market" would be able to solve most economic situations.

  12. My result were that I was 82% conservative, which corresponds pretty well with my results in class. According to the site, I am most likely to believe in a limited government and have a strong desire for economic growth, which is an accurate portrayal of my political views. -Andy Killiam

  13. My results were 80% conservative which is a decent amount more compared to the in class survey which I got a 14/25. This survey says that I would believe in a limited or minimal role in government to solve social problems, and instead believe economic growth paramount. That is a good description of my political views overall.

  14. I received 86% liberal on the online quiz, and 8/25 in class. I think they match up decently, just being a few points away. I also got 62% social democrat, as well as it says that I feel a government role can help with poverty. I cant say I agree with this, nor disagree with this. I don't have very "strong" feelings when it comes to government or politics, but some social issues I feel like I'm more liberal.

  15. According to the test I am 88% Liberal, this test is slightly skewed left compared to the one I took in class. According to the test I am for the government pushing regulations and policies to fight poverty. Along with that I am for the current social paradigm. I agree with this test as it goes along with my political views.- Olu Adebayo

  16. My results said I'm 90% liberal. This is way farther to the left that I was from the survey that we did in class where I was right in the middle. From these results, it shows that I believe in the role of the government to help our nation. The government should fight poverty, both by means of welfare programs and economic regulation. I am for the relention (lessening) of our current social model and more for change.

  24. I got 85% Libertarian, which was surprising to me. I was slightly more liberal in the first test we took, but in this test I was more conservative and in favor of little government involvement and a free-market economy.

  26. The results I got were very accurate compared to the results I got in class. I am 68% social democrat. 56% liberal and 62% conservative. I favour the broadening of various social programs and progressive income tax systems to help alleviate social inequality -Jordyn Baker

  27. My results showed that I am 78% Liberal. This was a little surprising because I leaned so left on the in class survey. However, I can understand why I lean this way. In the break down of the results, it said that I'm 72% Social democrat. I definitely find myself thinking that we should help all. I understand that there need to be set limits as to how much we help, but I think everyone deserves an equal chance to start off. I also got 15% conservative. This also didn't surprise me because there are some things that I feel need to be addressed with a more conservative approach.

    Thank you,
