There are 6 main steps in order for a case to reach the minnesota supreme court. First the appellant files appeal after district court judgement. Second, 3 judges of court appeals hears the oral argument. Third, court of appeals gives an opinion on the case. Fourth, parties petition surpreme court for further review. Fifth, 3 judges must accept the appeal, then lastly the supreme court arguments are scheduled.
