There is a clear tie with the success of campaign there needs to be great deal of financial success along with it. Al Franken senate for the state of Minnesota 2007-2012 campaign has raised over 30 million and spent close to 29 million. Al Franken’s top five contributors are Time Warner, General Electric and University of Minnesota, Moveon.org. Senator Amy Klobuchar has raised over six million dollars for her 2007-12 campaign and spent over 2 million. Member of the house Tim Walz has raised over 800,000 dollars on his 2011-12 campaign and has spent close to 300,000 dollars.
